I absolutely love this gym, the owners Simon & Alison are brilliant, so easy to work with and they make your experience personal. Big gyms are ok but you're left to work things out on your own, at Westend Workouts your individual training needs are built around your ability and you also get a nutritional plan specific to you. I always hated the gym but I love it now and it's because of these guys. If you're looking for a new gym I'd fully recommend here or if you are like I used to be and scared of going to the gym I can guarantee this is the place for you. I'll never go anywhere else.

The first time I’ve enjoyed training in years and it’s down to the whole atmosphere in the gym where everyone helps each other achieve their goals. I started at WEW last June as a complete beginner. I didn't join to lose weight but because I wanted to become strong and fit. In the past 10 months I have been supported and encouraged (and also ignored when I moan something is too hard :-)) I never imagined I would feel so at home in a gym but that is exactly what has happened. I'm still not one of those people that puts exercise before a trip to a beer garden on a sunny day but I'm stronger, fitter and totally committed to my two sessions a week at WEW. I've maintained a healthy weight, lost inches and built muscle whilst still enjoying meals out and socialising with my family and friends. I can't thank these guys enough for putting up with me!

After returning to exercise from baby no2 I have found West End Workouts to be brilliant. I’ve tried a few different classes and all are equally welcoming, not intimidating at all and great fun. Bootcamp gets the heart and lungs going for sure and uses weights too which I like. I hadn’t done exercise for the best part of a year and was able to come back to these classes and go at my own pace while still being challenged. I was worried before going to my first strength class that it would be full of meat heads lol, but it is so far from that kind of gym. It has a great mix of friendly people that help make the welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of nutritional advice available too.

I would highly recommend Westend Workouts! I attended for 12 week group PT sessions going 2x weekly, and managed to see a huge difference with weight loss and muscle gain. Before attending I hadn't exercised properly in a year, so anyone can do it! Simon is a great coach, he gives good motivation and is always available to help out with any questions and queries you have. Only reason I had to cancel my membership was due to work commitments or I would still be there training!! Thanks again for everything Simon and Alison.
